Remember the Dark Souls Boss Fight That Broke Your Heart? Yeah We Want Him as an Ally in Elden Ring Nightreign

Hidetaka Miyazaki is one hell of an unpredictable man, and you never know when he will place a boss you will hate fighting amongst the absolute monsters you usually go through. This has always been the case with every single game he has ever created, and players worry it is going to happen with Elden Ring Nightreign, an upcoming co-op title from FromSoftware as well.

We already know that Nightreign is bringing back many bosses from the Dark Souls trilogy, including the likes of The Nameless King and the Centipede Demon, to name a few. However, fans are now wishing the upcoming game brings back this one boss from the trilogy that everybody hated eliminating.

Fans want Sif in Elden Ring Nightreign in any way possible

The battle against Great Grey Wolf Sif has never sat right with the players of Dark Souls. Unlike other enemies of the game, Sif was never a monster that everybody hated the guts of; instead, he was just a good boy trying to protect its master’s resting place in the serene graveyard.

Unfortunately, as the game calls for it, there’s no way around it but to eliminate Sif when the player encounters the boss. If you play through the Artorias of the Abyss DLC first, you even get to see a younger version of Sif, saved by the player alongside a still-living Artorias, making the boss fight even more difficult for the players later on.

Seeing how FromSoftware is bringing back many elements and bosses from the original Dark Souls series, there is no better chance to treat the character of Sif right, 14 years after his first appearance in 2011.

There are essentially many ways to go around it. The studio can do anything but make the wolf a boss, including introducing him as a Spirit Ash, an ability that one of the eight pre-defined characters is going to use extensively.

Elden Ring Nightreign also brings back the most unexpected bosses of all time

Sif’s story is one of undying loyalty, but Elden Ring: Nightreign could finally offer something he was denied in Dark Souls: peace. FromSoftware has made us cry over a digital wolf before. Maybe it’s time they give us the chance to fight alongside him instead.

Elden Ring Nightreign unfortunately brings back the most annoying enemies that players wish the studio would have just left where they came from. For example, the fingercreeper, with which many agree that Nightreign would have been better off without any of them.

Apart from that, the upcoming game is also bringing back the big bad hater from Elden Ring, which happens to be none other than Margit, the Fell Demigod, the one boss in Nightreign that can invade you at any given moment.
