A MAJOR train line has been closed amid an ongoing emergency incident.
Mercy crews are attending a stretch of the line between Haymarket station in Edinburgh and Dalmeny.

A decision has been made to temporarily shut the busy route between the capital and Fife, ScotRail has said.
The operator has requested replacement bus services to run between the stops below:
- Edinburgh to run to Glenrothes
- Edinburgh to run to Leven
- Glenrothes to run to Edinburgh
- Leven to run to Edinburgh
- Edinburgh to run to Dundee
- Dundee to run to Edinburgh
ScotRail has warned passengers to expect delays, alterations and cancellations on these routes.
ScotRail, the British Transport Police and the Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
