SHANE O’DONNELL has been ruled out for the rest of the season in a devastating blow for Clare GAA.
Brian Lohan confirmed that the All-Ireland winner will miss the remainder of the campaign after getting surgery on a shoulder injury.
The Banner boss lamented: “It’s very unfortunate for Shane himself and the team as well.
“We looked at every option with Shane but the medical advice was that surgery was 100 per cent necessary, so we wish him well and a full recovery.”
