Keeping Up With The Kardashians is so yesterday. It’s clear that it’s now time to Giddy Up With The Kardashians. Kim Kardashian’s daughter Chicago just celebrated her birthday, and — in true Kardashian style — had a wildly elaborate birthday party. This year, she had a definite cowgirl theme going, complete with hats, boots, chaps that her mom (purposefully?) wore backward, dart-throwing stations, and so much more.
“Chicago’s 7th cowgirl birthday,” Kardashian captioned her post.
Followers were quick to jump in the comments and guess why the 7-year-old chose this theme. And no, it’s not because her last name is West. No, this was probably because of another A-lister entirely.
“Beyoncé really inspires generations,” one person wrote because Chicago’s all-white cowgirl outfit looks a whole lot like the Grammy winner’s Christmas Halftime Show performance outfit. Another said, “The theme would’ve been completely different if Beyonce hadn’t released Cowboy Carter BTW”
“Oh I know y’all ready for the Cowboy Carter Tour,” one follower wrote.
“This ain’t Texas,” another said, referencing Queen Bey’s hit single.
And honestly, we could totally see (and would really love) Chicago telling her mom she wanted a birthday party based on the Album of the Year.
Along with pictures of Kardashian and Chicago — who the SKIMS founder shares with ex-husband Kanye West along with kids North, Saint, and Psalm — there were photos of Khloé Kardashian dressed to impress with kids True and Tatum, stunning shots of the elaborate venue and cowgirl boot cake, plus incredible candids of the kiddos on the [line] dance floor.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper Chicago West-centric post if people weren’t talking about how the little girl — who is affectionately known as “Chi” — looks so much like her mom. “MINI KIM RIGHT THERE,” one person commented.
If Chicago’s dad was at the party, it wasn’t clear in the photos Kardashian posted. The TV personality has recently changed her tune about her controversial ex-husband who is known to go on bigotted, anti-Semitic rants. She confessed that he has “been involved” in co-parenting their four kids.
“Kanye and I want the best for the kids, so any time we’re here supporting our child, it’s always good vibes,” she said in a confessional on The Kardashians, per E! News.
So maybe he was there, cowboy hat in hand, celebrating his third born’s big day with nothing but “good vibes.”
