CHRISTINA KENNY has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the FAI.
The Roscommon-native takes on the role having served on the Independent Committee at the Association.


She has previously worked with the NTR Group, Voxpro, and Taoglas, and has experience in sectors such as sport, education, technology, and renewable energy.
FAI CEO David Courell said: “Christina’s extensive experience and commitment to good governance make her an exceptional choice for this critical role.
“We are confident that her strategic vision and operational expertise will be a significant contribution to Irish football”.
In her new position, Kenny will oversee the day-to-day operations of the FAI, focusing on enhancing operational frameworks and fostering innovation.
She will lead strategic planning initiatives that align with the FAI’s objectives.
Speaking about her appointment, Kenny said: “I am honoured to take on the role of Chief Operating Officer at the FAI.
