MAFS UK bitter rivals end huge feud leaving shocked fans asking ‘who held her at gunpoint?’

MAFS UK bitter rivals Holly Ditchfield and Hannah Norburn ended their huge feud in last night’s reunion – leaving shocked fans asking, ‘Who held her at gunpoint?’

The surprise reconciliation came after months of tension, which first erupted during a girls’ night out in the series.

Holly, 29, was accused of bullying Hannah, 33, after making cutting remarks including, “Look what the cats dragged in” when Hannah arrived.

The E4 show was subsequently hit with more than 200 Ofcom complaints from furious viewers.

The atmosphere soured further as Holly and others accused Hannah of inappropriate behavior with other grooms, particularly her own Alex Henry, 28.

Hannah quickly became one of the most controversial figures of the season, with viewers calling her out for flirtatious interactions with multiple grooms despite being paired with Luke Debono, 30.

At last night’s reunion, tensions seemed to thaw as Holly unexpectedly apologised to Hannah.

Holly broke down in tears as she said: “I have through some treacherous s**t in my life, Hannah.

“It’s not even a personal thing, but you did relate to a lot of my insecurities where a woman came in and took away my relationship.

“I hate that I ever made you feel singled out, I’m so sorry for making you feel so vulnerable and hurt as a person to sit in a room and have to feel like you are being targeted.

“That is horrible, that is mean girl behavior and I am so sorry. I genuinely am, from the bottom of my heart.

“That behaviour is not okay. I need to set an an amazing impression to my daughter growing up.”

“At the end of the day, as long as you’re polite to me and I’m polite you, that’s all that matters.”

Hannah replied: “I appreciate that. I think if you came to me and said ‘Listen, you being pally with Alex is bringing up insecurities as a woman, we could have had a very different experience.

“I get it. I think, let’s draw a line in the sand, let’s move on. I respect the conversation, I respect the apology and I will own my bit and move forward. I can’t see us ever being besties and braiding each other’s hair.”

Holly joked: “I don’t but we can share a Prosecco on a night out sometime.”

But while Hannah accepted the apology, some fans weren’t convinced it was genuine.

Social media erupted with skepticism, with one viewer tweeting, “F*****g hell, who held Holly at gunpoint to apologise?”

Another said: “Hmmmm…..not sure how long nice girl Holly is going to stay around for.”

Others, however, were more optimistic, with a third writing: “Glad Holly apologised! Think it was very good of her!

Someone else agreed: “Good on Holly for owning that and apologising. Whew love that growth for her.

HANNAH’S NEW MAN

Meanwhile, this latest news comes just days after The Sun exclusively revealed that Hannah is dating the newly single Paul Liba.

They both appear on tonight’s reunion special together.

A source told us: “They’ve been secretly sneaking out on dates for a while and wanted to keep things under wraps but it all came out at the reunion filming.

“Nothing stays secret in the world of MAFS because everyone knows everyone.”

Paul appeared on the 2023 version of the show, getting married to bride Tasha Jay.

The couple remained together after the show aired, but shocked fans when they announced they split after a year together in November 2024.

Tasha posted a statement online that read: “It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing Paul and I have decided to part ways.

“There isn’t any major reason, we have just come to terms with the fact that we are not right for each other.

“Paul is the loveliest guy I’ve ever met and I’m grateful for the time we’ve shared together and I’m glad that we can remain friends.

“I’m utterly heartbroken that I’m having to write this post, but it is best for both of us.’

“Thank you to everyone who has supported us as a couple. I hope you can now support us on our individual journeys.”

In comparison, Hannah had a disastrous time on MAFS, joining the show as a late bride and tying the knot with Stephen Nolson.

But despite initially seeming like a good fit, the pair’s relationship dissolved quickly – and it was only made worse when the girls of the group didn’t get along with her.

Mafs couples that have stood the test of time

Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.

The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam’s Doncaster home.

Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.

Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.

Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out – and excited for everything to come.”

Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.

Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.

“While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.

“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’

“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”

Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.

Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same sex pairing are still going strong.

They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.

Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”
