Amy Adams’ Batman Voice Was So Good It Blew Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill Out of the Water

Amy Adams has earned a lot of praise for her performances throughout her career. Hailed as one of the most versatile actors of recent times, the actress has made her mark in most genres out there.

However, for many fans seeing her as Lois Lane on the big screen was a dream come true. The actress, too, seemed to enjoy her role well enough opposite Henry Cavill’s Superman.

Interestingly, an old clip of Adams, Cavill, and Ben Affleck in an interview has recently gone viral. If anything, that clip has fans convinced that the time has come for Amy Adams to return to superhero movies. This time as Batman.

An old clip of Amy Adams’ Batman impersonation has stunned the fans

Amy Adams charmed fans with her widely appreciated portrayal of Lois Lane during Zack Snyder’s DC stint. Be it Man of Steel, Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, or Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the actress hit it off the park with her amazing acting skills.

As such, although fans wanted to see more of her in superhero movies, the hope for it wasn’t that high. However, a resurfaced video clip of the Arrival star in an interview alongside Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill is making fans think otherwise.

For context, the actors came to The Graham Norton Show to promote their Batman Vs Superman movie in 2016. During this, Affleck had a discussion with the host about the voice modulation effect Bruce Wayne used in the movie to hide his identity.

Norton, unsurprisingly, popped out a mic that had the same effect set into it for a fun little segment with the actors. Affleck himself used the mic to cite his pizza order earning laughs from the audience.

However, it was Amy Adams who caught the fans’ attention with her phenomenal impersonation of The Dark Knight. Referring to the famous scene from Dawn of Justice where Superman and Batman are engaged in a battle, the actress spoke into the mic,

Do you bleed?

The instant reaction from everyone around, including the actress, was pure astonishment. In fact, it was so good that even Ben Affleck ended up joking that the Nocturnal Animals star was close to “taking [his] job”.

Henry Cavill for his part seemed to be in a fun mood, as he fired off a joke into the mic saying, “I’m Batman, and I’m secretly in love with Superman.” Regardless, fans absolutely loved the segment, and more than anything else, appreciated Amy Adams’ magnificent Batman imitation.

Fans are convinced Amy Adams is ready to take on her role as the next Caped Crusader

Along with being one of the most talented actresses, Amy Adams has also made a reputation for herself as one of the most beloved actresses in the industry. As a result, the resurfaced clip has quickly gone viral with more and more people being awed by the actress’ impersonation.

In fact, fans loved it so much that they took to X to express their enthusiasm. While most fans noted what a fun interview it was, many exclaimed their surprise at Adams’ “Batman voice”.

Fans’ appreciation for Adams, Affleck, and Cavill in their respective roles in DC seems to be growing as more time passes. As such, the new Superman movie has big shoes to fill to earn such love from fans.

Robert Pattinson has proved his worth as the new Batman with The Batman, and is set to start filming for The Batman: Part II later this year, according to Variety. At any rate, fans’ enthusiasm about this resurfaced clip proves that if nothing else they would love for Amy Adams to return to superhero movies sooner than later.

Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice is streaming on MAX. Superman, on the other hand, will hit the theaters on July 11th, 2025.
